Catfish and Crawfish Toast

What you’ll need:

  • 4 U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish fillets, seasoned, cooked and flaked
  • 1 cup crawfish tails
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • ¼ cup green onions
  • 1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 small loaves of French bread, cut in half lengthwise
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Green onions for garnish

How to prepare:

Preheat the oven to 350° F. Mix the first nine ingredients together in a bowl.

Place the bread on a sheet tray, and spoon the mixture onto the slices of French bread.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and top with cheddar cheese.

Continue to cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown.

Let cool slightly before slicing into individual portions.

Garnish with sliced green onions, and serve on a platter warm.
