Blackened Catfish Sandwich

What you’ll need:

  • For Catfish:
  • 2 U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish Fillets
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 /2 tsp Mediterranean Sea Salt
  • Cajun Tartar Sauce:
  • 1 c. Mayo
  • 1 tbsp chopped pickles
  • 1/4 finely diced red onion
  • 1.5 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Dill weed
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon

How to prepare:

Catfish

Pat 2 U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish fillets dry with a paper towel on both sides.

Season Catfish on both sides with cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, black pepper, smoked paprika and Mediterranean sea salt.

Press seasonings into Catfish on both sides.

Cook for 3 minutes on each side in 2 tbsp of butter.

 

Cajun Tartar Sauce

Mix ingredients together and spread on buns of sandwich.
