Easy Korean Catfish

What you’ll need:

  • 3 U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish fillets
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 4 cups white rice
  • 10 oz kimchi
  • SAUCE
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • ¼ cup tamari
  • 1⁄8 tsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

How to prepare:

HEAT a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

ADD oil.

PAT Catfish fillets dry.

DRIZZLE Catfish with tamari to season, then dip each fillet in the cornstarch to coat well.

ADD the Catfish to the skillet and sauté for 5 minutes.

FLIP and continue cooking for 5 minutes.

When cooked through, REMOVE Catfish from the skillet and set aside.

ADD the garlic to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes.

MIX remaining sauce ingredients and stir.

BRING mixture to a simmer and let thicken.

PLACE Catfish back in the skillet and coat in the sauce.

SERVE with rice and kimchi.
